Santa Monica Sunsets...

Yesterday I drove down Santa Monica Blvd towards the West and then took a right on Ocean Ave. I had the windows down and the sun was setting. I can't tell you how amazing the sunset was..As far as you could see was the ocean. It was endless.. And the sunset was just perfectly beaming off it and the palms stood high. It had pinks, oranges, purples... I tried to take pics with my blackberry in the turn lane and almost got ran over and honked at. Ha. I wanted to shout from my little silver Jetta rental car, "But, I am new here. Let up!!"
Pictures don't do it justice. You just have to experience them. I'll remind myself to look at pics when I have to pay that rent each month....It's truly paradise here.

I love that Ocho Cinco is talking shit. LOVE it!! And they are 0-4, lol!! It's gonna make for a good game, esp if he kisses that damn star. ((T.O Style, remember that one game he went and stood in it..Jack ass, haha.. he is growing on me though)) I know Pacman and T New are posting his quotes in their lockers to get all fired up for the game and practicing harddddd this week. Can't wait to see it all go down. And I'll be there!

Cars..

So I am shopping for new cars right now. I HATE my Tahoe now and give it no love anymore. It's a bus. Been a good car, though, I have to say. Been paid off for quite some time now, I just had bigger and better things to worry about and didn't really care since I drove 2 miles to work, but I have the new car bug now. Struck! AND I AM NOT taking that thing to CALI..I am really excited about having a sick stereo and an ipod thingy in it. I love all the gadgets. And to be able to park anywhere!! I think I have it narrowed down to the 09 Audi A4 or BMW x5. Maybe the new Acura TL. I drove the new Mercedes C class and liked it, but I see them everywhere now. I don't want a car everyone has, sorry. Like don't you see the 3-series everywhere?? I know, I know...Tahoe's are everywhere. I love the Range Rover Sport, but it's not very cool on the inside. More of like "Euro I am going equestrian-riding" style, not near on par tech wise as the others. And I am sure the day I get it, the body style would change. And my Dad says they are not very reliable. And that's important cause if I am 2000 miles away, I don't need to be calling home crying about a broken down car. I am sure I will have other things to call home and whine about :) Right, mom!! Geezo.... what am I gonna do!! Scary.

My new show

This is really random, but I love this show on TLC. Jon & Kate plus 8. I am so captivated by it. Watching this avg family raise 8 kids is so interesting to me. They are so normal, they get in fights over the dumbest shit, but it's so real life. I feel like it's a true reality TV show. (sidenote: I used to watch THE HILLS, but that is not real life. I liked Laguna, though) Like I have a huge heart, but how could I ever give 8 kids enough love, such a crazy dynamic? The kids get a special day which is ONE day to share with just their mom & dad, sad. It was such a treat for the 6 yr old to go to a restaurant with just them... And I have seen so many of the shows, I feel like I know the kids. I am a weirdo I know, but it's so cool to watch them grow up and be so cute. I have a special little place in my heart for little kids. Some people are animal lovers and adore puppies and cats, but I love little kids! Maybe some day I will be a teacher, I think it'd be a blast!

Fly Away's

So I was getting my hair done this week and Glynnis showed me a cool trick. My hair is pretty thick (thanks Dad) so I have tons of baby hairs and fly aways. I hate it esp when it's humid outside and they get all curly style..She took an old mascara wand and sprayed it w/hairspray and brushed all the little baby hairs down and it worked! No more crazy flyways!

The Debates

I only watched the end of the debates, but I KNOW people were watching JUST to see Palin F up or say something dumb...Stop! I don't even know who I am voting for yet (they both have + and -'s to me) but everyone is OBBBSESSSED with her every move. SNL ratings are up, they can't keep the glasses she wears in stock, some wine with her name is sold out. I am sure it's b/c she is hot. She is. I read some story about how they asked her what newspaper she read and she said, "All of them" - She has gotten so much shit for that (can I say that on here????)..who cares what newspaper she reads? Who even reads newspapers anymore? Older people I guess.. Maybe I am missing something, but that is def not newsworthy..Ask avg Joe about Biden and they can't tell you much. They never talk about him. I just think it's crazy that she's EVERYWHERE.

Hi!

I've decided to blog. I know a little late in the game since I consider myself pretty techy..I always have random thoughts and want to be like "do other people think that, too??!!"... My life is about to get interesting (at least to me) in these next few months so I think it will be fun to look back. I don't consider myself a very opinionated person, but maybe I am?? I HATE HATE to not know what's going on in the world ( like it really bothers me) so I will probably comment on random stuff. I feel that is a good quality I have b/c I can hold my own in a convo to anyone about whatever whenever...I know this is public so do what you want with it, don't have much to hide. People will creep, but that's fine.
I don't know why I do this, but I do the "...." a lot. I know it's grammatically wrong, but that is how I think. And sometimes I abbreviate or misspell because I am used to txting (texting) so please don't think I am an idiot.
